Tom The Turkey
It was Thanksgiving Day. Tom the turkey was on his to his favorite spot in the barnyard when suddenly….
John the butcher stepped in front of Tom. Tom looked up at and said in his little turkey voice, “Happy Thanksgiving”, but John said, “its not a happy Thanksgiving for you”. Tom’s little turkey brain was confused but Tom slipped past John. John decided to go get a drink so Tom went to go ask

What is a Friend?
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loveth at all times and a brother is born for adversity
My mom gave me an assignment that made me consider the qualities of friendship.
I found these scriptures to go along with what I think.

A friend is someone that cares about you, comforts you in times of trouble, and just calls to chat. A friend is someone that you visit from time to time, or writes letters to each other. A friend is someone you can laugh with and have good times- someone that will be there even in the hard times. A friend can often be looked at as a brother or sister. A friend helps in times of need, and is someone you love and look up to. A friend can make mistakes, even disappoint you, but a true friend will try and make amends and restore the friendship. A friend is loving and kind. A friend is honest. A friend is someone you can trust.

Anniversary Sunday
Sunday I got to bring one of my very best friends to church. This picture of her & I was taken over the summer. She was a little nervous on Sunday. It was Anniversary Sunday at our church, so there was good fellowship and even a special lunch between the services. The guest Pastor taught out of Luke 18:17 "verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of god as a little child shall in no wise enter therein"
This week there have been guest Pastors each night (Monday through Wednesday)
There is also a missionary family visiting our church this week The Darden Family. I was hoping their CD had a website on it so I could share it with you, but I can't find one. Their music is sooooo pretty!

Visiting With Friends

BIRTHDAYS
Today Mary-Rachael turned 2! We took her to the market and out to lunch then she went SHOE SHOPPING! She got a pair of pink corduroy shoes. She passed out on the way home she was partied out.
Yesterday Micah turned 7! WOW he has gotten SOO big. We went to the park with some friends and had a pizza party. It was really windy but we had fun.
2 & 7 WOW!
